| Description: | Exhibition Info: Professor Richard Thomson, the University's Watson Gordon Professor of Fine Art will give the lecture. He is also the guest curator of the exhibition which focuses on artists' fascination with the decadent spirit and glamour of bohemian life in the Parisian district of Montmartre at the turn of the 20th century,. More than 250 works, primarily by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901), but also including work by Edgar Degas, Edouard Manet, Pierre Bonnard, Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso and Jule Cheret. The exhibition is open for public viewing from 11.00am until 6.00pm Lecture Info: Held in the Large Auditorium of the East Building (Fourth Street entrance) at 2.00pm. Please note that the lecture is open to the public and that seating is offered on a first-come, first-seated basis. Reception Info: The Principal of the University, Professor Timothy O'Shea and Professor Thomson are hosting a French-themed wine and canapes reception for Edinburgh alumni and their guests from 3.00pm to 5.00pm in the Director's Concourse Dining Room.
